FileWink is a free local file viewer for data, documents, books and images, maps and 3D models. Inspect a table, read a document or explore a book directly in your browser. No account or upload is required.

Practical limits

This is a viewer, not a professional editor or archival converter. Browser memory is finite; rendering and color can differ from the source application. Keep your original files. Downloads clearly identify their scope.

Technical notes

The interface runs on TanStack Start and React. Format-specific engines parse and render your selected files on your device.

Acknowledgments

Parsing and rendering use DuckDB-Wasm, Apache Arrow, Papa Parse, lossless-json, fast-xml-parser, yaml, PDF.js, fflate, DOMPurify and libheif-js. Their respective licenses and notices apply.
