Supported formats
Free local viewers for the formats below. Browser memory, compression and format variants affect compatibility. Files over 50 MiB show a warning; a smaller file may still exceed available memory.
| Format | Capabilities | Limits |
|---|---|---|
| CSV Viewer | Search, filter, sort and export the current page or all matching rows. Delimiter and header controls keep values as strings, including leading zeros. | 200 MiB input; 200,000 rows and 1,000 columns. UTF-8 and BOM-marked UTF-16. Inconsistent rows are rejected. |
| TSV Viewer | Browse a virtual table, search all rows, sort columns and export the current page or all matching rows as CSV. Tab is the default delimiter. | 200 MiB input; 200,000 rows and 1,000 columns. Values remain strings. Generated exports are limited to 50 MiB. |
| JSON Viewer | Read the source, expand a tree, search source lines or explore arrays of records as a table. Download the original bytes at any time. | 20 MiB input; bounded tree and source preview. Large integers and decimal spelling are preserved. No editing or format conversion. |
| JSONL Viewer | Read source and trees, browse object records in a table and find invalid JSON by line number. NDJSON is also supported. | 200 MiB input, subject to expanded memory limits. Source preview is bounded. Blank lines are skipped; malformed records stop parsing. |
| Parquet Viewer | Inspect schema and row counts, search, filter and sort using local DuckDB-Wasm. Export the current page or all matching rows as CSV. | 200 MiB input. Compressed data may exhaust browser memory earlier. Encryption and some codec variants are unsupported. No SQL editor in this release. |
| XML Viewer | View attributes, namespaces and ordered text in a read-only tree. Search the source and download the original file. | 20 MiB input. DTD and entity declarations are blocked. No XSLT, schema validation or HTML execution. |
| YAML Viewer | Inspect multiple YAML documents, search source lines and preserve scalar spelling. Aliases are shown without expansion. | 20 MiB input. Duplicate keys, invalid syntax and unknown tags are rejected. No executable custom tags or YAML-to-JSON conversion. |
| EPUB Reader | Navigate chapters, adjust text size and background, and bookmark chapters for the current session. Bundled raster images are supported. | 50 MiB compressed; 200 MiB expanded; 20 MiB per entry; 5,000 entries. DRM and fixed-layout books are unsupported. Safe reading mode removes scripts, styles, links, forms, SVG and remote resources. |
| HEIC Viewer | Decode a primary still image on your device, rotate the preview and export JPG or PNG. Processing stays local, including the fallback decoder. | 30 MiB input; 24 megapixels. Color, HDR and orientation handling may differ by decoder. JPG quality and proportional resize controls are available. No Live Photos, sequences or AVIF. |
| PDF Viewer | Navigate pages, zoom, fit to width, select extracted page text and search the document. Enter supported PDF passwords locally. | 200 MiB input; 16-megapixel render surface per page. No OCR, editing, signing or embedded attachment execution. Scanned pages may have no selectable text. |
| DOCX Viewer | Read main-body paragraphs, headings, bold text and basic tables in a sanitized, sandboxed HTML frame. No editing or Word installation required. | 50 MiB input; 100 MiB archive expansion, 20 MiB per entry, 5,000 entries. No perfect Word page fidelity. Images, headers, footers, drawings, equations, macros and OLE are omitted or may degrade. No encrypted DOCX or legacy DOC. |
| XLSX Viewer | Switch visible worksheets; search, filter and sort bounded cell tables. Read cached formula values and export the current page or all matching rows as CSV. | 50 MiB generated-export cap; exports cover only the worksheet preview. 50 MiB input; first 10 visible worksheets, first 10,000 rows and 100 columns each. 100 MiB archive expansion, 20 MiB per entry, 5,000 entries. No editing, recalculation, formatting, charts, images or macros. Recognized dates are shown in UTC; numeric precision is limited. Hidden rows and columns in visible sheets may be shown. |
| PSD Viewer | Preview the saved flattened composite; zoom, rotate and export PNG or JPG. No layer editing or layer rendering. | 50 MiB input; 24 megapixels; PSD v1, 8-bit RGB with 3 or 4 channels and raw/RLE compression only. No PSB, CMYK, Lab, indexed, 16/32-bit or ZIP compression. Embedded color profiles are ignored; color and transparency may differ. |
| SQLite Viewer | Read-only user table picker, column types, row counts, search, filter, sort and current-page or all-matching CSV export. BLOB values show byte counts. | 50 MiB generated-export cap; exports cover the selected table. 100 MiB input; at most 100 user tables and 100 columns per selected table. Pages contain 100 rows. Search uses the first 2,000 characters per text cell. Full values can be viewed, copied and exported. No SQL workbench, writes, encryption, WAL sidecars or extension loading. Views and FTS may fail. |
| GeoJSON Viewer | Local SVG sketch of points, lines and polygon outlines, feature counts and paged property inspection. No remote map tiles or user content sent to mapping services. | 20 MiB input; 10,000 features; 200,000 vertices. WGS84 longitude/latitude only; geometry depth 32. First 1,000 feature properties, 50 keys each, 2,000 characters per value. KML: 100,000 XML nodes and depth 64; DTDs, entities and NetworkLink blocked. No reprojection, altitude, antimeridian correction, styling, overlays, editing or KMZ. |

Browser support
Use a recent browser with WebAssembly and workers enabled. Desktop Chromium is the initial automated test target. Firefox, Safari, native HEIC and physical mobile devices still need validation. Input limits are guardrails, not a guarantee that every file below them will open.
Choose a local file or read the local file viewer FAQ for privacy, pricing and offline questions.
Unsupported: legacy DOC/XLS, encrypted Office files, general archive browsing, CAD, medical images, and DRM-protected books. No account is needed.
